3 Reasons why the 2019 Dodge Journey is a special car
Launched in 2009, the Journey by Dodge is a mid-size crossover SUV. Widely regarded as a family car, the Journey combines minivan features and advanced performance and styling features. All these features come at an affordable price. The Journey is one of the best selling cars in Dodge’s lineup. Last year Dodge launched the 2019 version of the Journey. The 2019 Dodge Journey has hit dealerships in Pennsylvania and other parts of the country. We, in this post, take a look at what the 2019 Journey has to offer.
The 2019 Dodge Journey comes with Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Roll Mitigation. While Electronic Stability Control maintain directional control when driving on icy and wet roads, Electronic Roll Mitigation works by reducing engine power, when the system senses that the driver is losing control over the vehicle.
Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, and four wheel disc antilock brakes boost the car’s braking capacity. Thanks to these features, braking under different driving conditions is more controlled and uniform. The car features seven airbags and active front seat head restraints that are designed to reduce the chances of serious neck, head, or spine injuries in the event of a collision.
Within the car, crumple zones are provided that redirect the energy from the impact away from the bodies of the occupants.
To help you maintain control over the vehicle when driving on low-traction surfaces, the Journey comes with an All Wheel Drive. Drivers can choose from three different suspension options, independent suspension, touring suspension, and high performance suspension. Trailer Sway Control helps avoid sway when hauling heavy loads.
The Journey comes with a powerful 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that works with the Trailer Tow Prep Group to help tow up to 2,500 pounds.
Travelling with tiny tots? Just fold out second-row child booster seats that are especially designed keeping in mind the body structure of kids. When not in use, these booster seats can be conveniently folded away. To help you relax during long commutes, the Journey comes with four-way power driver seat with six-way lumbar adjustment.
