What’s New For 2020?
For 2020, Dodge has made several improvements to the Grand Caravan. One is that the SE Plus trim of the vehicle has been equipped with several new features as well as new cosmetic detailing.
Additionally, the SE Plus trim now has an optional Blacktop package that comes with black 17-inch allow wheels, black interior trim, and a black grille. These features give the trim a much sportier appearance.
Performance
The Dodge Grand Caravan is available in three trim levels, which are SE, SE Plus, and the range-topping SXT. All trims are powered by a 3.6liter V6 engine that delivers 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The V6 engine is potent enough to give a fairly powerful performance, adequate for everyday use. Its innocuous handling and decent ride quality, combined with a well-managed body roll considering its top-heavy design, make it a pleasure to drive on the road. It feels poised enough even through corners and also feels relaxing while cruising.
The car offers a good 25 mpg of mileage, making it ideal for urban driving.
Interior And Styling
The 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan feels spacious inside, with plenty of cargo space as well as enough headroom and legroom for all passengers and the driver. It can seat up to 7 people. Moreover, the cabin has plenty of storage for small items.
The rear seats can be folded into underfloor bins when they are not required, and this converts the vehicle into something like a hollowed-out cargo transporter. It also comes with the Stow ‘n Go system.
Technology And Infotainment
The 2020 Grand Caravan comes with a standard 6.5-inch infotainment screen and an auxiliary input. More infotainment and tech features are optional. Unfortunately, it does not have Android Auto nor Apple CarPlay on any of the trim levels.
